The Georgia Archive’s December Lunch and Learn will be about how Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol Influenced Our Christmas Traditions. When Charles Dickens wrote A Christmas Carol in 1843, he helped to revive the Christmas culture of gift-giving, good cheer, family reunions, seasonal food and drink, dancing, games and a generosity of spirit.  At this festive Lunch and Learn, we will exam the history behind the observance of Western Christmas traditions reinvented by this ghostly novella.
